Telangana Intermediate Public Exams 2025: 9,96,971 students registered, exams from March 5-25
A total of 9,96,971 students of both first and second year, under General & Vocational streams and regular and private modes, have registered for the Telangana Intermediate Public Examinations 2025 - Theory. The exams are scheduled to be conducted from March 5 till March 25.
Addressing a press conference held in Hyderabad on Monday (March 3, 2025), Board of Intermediate Examination (BIE) secretary Krishna Aditya said that candidates should occupy seats in the exam hall by 8.30 a.m. Question papers will be provided at 9 a.m. All exams, in view of the hot weather conditions, will be conducted from 9 a.m. till 12 noon.
Candidates, however, will also be allowed if they arrive between 8.45 a.m. and 9 a.m. But candidates will lose time on filling up their OMR sheet and scrutinising the exam material.
“A grace time of up to five mins will be given beyond 9 a.m. But, I request students to arrive by 8.45 a.m.,” said Mr. Krishna Aditya. The announcement was made despite the printed hall tickets saying that candidates will not be allowed after 8.45 a.m.
The exams this time are also unique because all the examination centres in the State are equipped with a CCTV unit and monitored at the command control centre set up at the BIEs office, Hyderabad.
