Plus Two board exams commence in Krishnagiri

Over 21,000 students appeared for Plus Two board exams in Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri districts with 231 differently abled candidates.
A total of 21,949 students appeared for the Plus Two board exams from 191 schools here on Monday. In addition, a total of 231 differently abled candidates appeared for the exams here.
In Krishnagiri education district, 12,944 students that included 6,342 boys and 6,602 girls appeared for the exams that are being held in 51 centres; in Hosur education district, 9,005 students that included 4,067 boys and 4,938 girls appeared for the exams that are being held in 36 centres. Students from 108 government schools (including one government aided school) and 83 matriculation schools appeared for the exams.
The exams were held in 87 centres with 117 flying squads on duty along with an array of invigilating staff.
Earlier, Collector C. Dinesh Kumar inspected select examination centres and inspected the conduct of exams and the basic amenities in place.
Dharmapuri
A total of 19,336 students appeared for the Plus Two exams from 177 schools here in the district on Monday.
This included 9,365 boys and 9,971 girls appearing for the exams being held in 83 centers. A total of 538 candidates, including 243 boys and 295 girls, did not appear for the exams.
