Madurai Mayor and Corporation Commissioner sign MoU for ₹314.69 crore CITIIS 2.0 project at Regional Forum in Jaipur.
Madurai Mayor Indrani Ponvasanth along with Corporation Commissioner Chitra Vijayan signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the 12th Regional 3R and Circular Economy Forum at Jaipur on Monday for CITIIS 2.0 project worth ₹314.69 crore.
Sources said the MoU for the CITIIS 2.0 project which was signed in the presence of Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration Lalitaditya Neelam would be utilised for developmental works that are to be carried out under Smart City project.
While many works under the Smart City project was already under way, the new MoU would fasten up the projects, source added.
