‘Why is Kishan Reddy not seeking enquiry into KTR’s ‘business partner’ Kedar’s death in Dubai?’ asks Congress MP

Bhongir MP demands Union Minister Kishan Reddy to seek an enquiry into suspicious death of Kedar in Dubai, accuses the Union Minister of siding with BRS.

Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Reddy demanded Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to seek an enquiry into the suspicious death of Kedar in a Dubai hotel and accused the Union Minister of siding with the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS).

Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad on Monday (March 3, 2025), he also asked why the BRS leaders are quiet on the death of Kedar, who was allegedly a business partner of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao. He also alleged that BRS MLA T Harish Rao was in Dubai the day Kedar died leading to suspicion.

Mr. Kiran Reddy ridiculed the clarification of Mr. Harish Rao that he went to Dubai attend the marriage of the daughter of BRS MLA, and showed the wedding card of Dubbaka MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy’s daughter. “When the wedding is on March 6 in Hyderabad, whose marriage did Mr. Harish Rao attend in Dubai?” he asked.

Mr. Harish Rao is active in posting his programmes on social media channels but he has not shared the details of his Dubai trip, he said. “Was it to convert black money investing there or some other reason?” he asked.

Ridiculing the BRS party’s allegations against the government on social media, he termed them as fake and baseless. The social media handles of BRS are managed spending huge amounts of money spreading ‘false news’ and narratives of the party, he alleged.

On the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) accident, he said former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao lacked sincerity and that this accident wouldn’t have happened had he completed the project. KCR never visited any accident site in his 10 years and why are the BRS leaders not talking about it, he asked and said BRS doesn’t have any leaders in Nalgonda.
