The water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Monday stood at 133.70 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.), with an inflow of 160 cusecs and a discharge of 1,500 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 68.96 ft. (maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,228 cusecs and a discharge of 1,769 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 8,060 mcft.
