The water level in MullaPeriyar dam was 118.45 feet (permissible level 142 ft) with an inflow of 89 cusecs and a discharge of 200 cusecs. The water level in Vaigai dam was 52.49 ft (max level 71 ft) with an inflow of 39 cusecs and a discharge of 69 cusecs. Periyakulam recorded 5 mm rainfall in the region during the last 24 hours ending 6 a.m. on Sunday, PWD officials said.
