Minister R. Rajendran announces infrastructure projects in Tamil Nadu to support growing population, setting a model for other states.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is enhancing infrastructure in the State to meet the needs of its growing population, said Minister for Tourism R. Rajendran.
The Minister, in the presence of Collector R. Brindha Devi and Mayor A. Ramachandran, laid the foundation for 21 new projects at ₹42.49 crore on Thursday. These projects would be executed by the Public Works Department (PWD) in the district.
The Minister said at the function that the schemes introduced by the Chief Minister served as a model for other States to follow. These schemes were implemented with a long-term vision to elevate Tamil Nadu as a global leader. The governance was benefiting all sections of society, including farmers, workers, students, and women.
