PMK founder demands DMK release white paper on unfulfilled poll promises, including NEET exemption and vacant posts.
PMK founder S. Ramadoss on Thursday demanded the ruling DMK to release a white paper regarding the status of implementation of its poll promises.
Addressing a press conference at Thailapuram near here, he said the Chief Minister, M.K. Stalin, had been claiming that the DMK had fulfilled 98% of its promises. However, the reality was that a majority of the promises were not implemented.
Accusing the ruling party of failing to fulfill poll promises, including getting exemption from National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) and filling up over 3.5 lakh vacant posts in the government, he said the DMK should release a white paper on its poll promises.
Referring to the Central government not releasing funds to the tune of ₹2,151 crore meant for Tamil Nadu under the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM-SHRI) scheme, Mr. Ramadoss said the Tamil Nadu government should file a suit in the Supreme Court seeking funds.
