2,233 students graduate from Srinivas University

Srinivas University's 7th convocation saw 2,233 students graduate, with inspiring speeches and awards highlighting the ceremony.
As many as 645 postgraduate and 1,588 undergraduate students received their degrees at the 7th convocation of Srinivas University on Thursday, February 13, at university campus in Mukka here.
Speaking on the occasion, Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor P.L. Dharma urged students to respect parents and teachers to become changemakers. He told them to develop the habit of reading, be physically fit and contribute to environment conservation. He also told them to enhance their intelligence with knowledge and skills to compete with Artificial Intelligence of the present era.
University Chancellor and president of A. Shama Rao Foundation Mangaluru, A. Raghavendra Rao urged students to dream big and should have goals in life, be productive, and contribute to the society, humanity and nation. Pro-Chancellor A. Srinivas Rao administered the professional and ethical oath to graduating students. He advised the graduates to grow in life without ego, and work hard to get success in this competitive world.
Vice-Chancellor Sathyanarayanan Reddy, Registrar Anil Kumar and others were present. The university announced 222 ranks for various programs, with a total of 46 graduates receiving the Chancellor’s Gold Medal. As many as 64 Ph.Ds were awarded during this event.
