Visakha Dairy Chairman Adari Anand Kumar resigns from YSRCP citing personal reasons, adding to party's recent setbacks.
In yet another jolt to the YSRCP in Visakhapatnam district, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and Visakha Dairy Chairman Adari Anand Kumar on Friday resigned from the YSRCP. Along with him, Directors of the Visakha Dairy also sent their resignations to the party head office.
In his resignation letter addressing the YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr. Anand Kumar has said that he had taken the decision due to personal reasons.
Mr. Adari Anand Kumar had contested as TDP MP candidate from Anakapalli in the 2019 elections and lost to YSRCP candidate B.V. Satyavathi. After the elections, he had joined the YSRCP. He had worked as YSRCP West Constituency in-charge and contested as YSRCP West MLA candidate in the 2024 election and lost to TDP candidate P.G.V.R. Naidu alias Gana Babu.
Recently, former Minister and former YSRCP Bheemunipatnam MLA Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao resigned from the party.
