Three-day photography exhibition by Visakha Camera Club begins on a grand note

Visakha Camera Club's three-day exhibition showcases 600 photos in various genres, celebrating its silver jubilee year.
A three-day photography exhibition by the Visakha Camera Club (VCC) began on a grand note, at Hawa Mahal, here on Friday. The exhibition also marks the silver jubilee year of the VCC, one of the oldest photography clubs in Andhra Pradesh.
Bobbili MLA Raja Swethakumar Ranga Rao and Commissioner of Police, Shankabrata Bagchi attended the programme as chief guests. It may be noted that Mr. Ranga Rao himself is one among the noted photographers in the country.
More than 600 photos which were captured by the VCC members on different genres like wildlife, nature, portrats, wedding, fashion & glamour, travel, photojournalism and landscapes were displayed.
Chairman of VCC B.K. Agarwal said that the members will be available on all days to guide and explain the photo technique used in taking the pictures to the viewers.
“VCC is one of the most active clubs in the country. Today, most of its 26 members, including women, coming from very different walks of life. VCC conducts regular free photography classes for beginners. It has already organised six international, two national and many member exhibitions in the city. Besides, it also organises regular workshops and presentations,” he said.
