UPI payment for Telangana RTC bus tickets introduced

TGSRTC buses now accept UPI payments for tickets, alongside cash, in 2800 Hyderabad buses and 1800 high-end buses.
Payment for tickets through Unified Payments Interface (UPI) was introduced in Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) buses plying in Hyderabad limits and high-end buses, a few days ago. A ticket will be generated upon the payment. Commuters can continue to pay through cash too.
Currently, the option is available in the 2800 buses plying in the city limits, and around 1800 high-end buses including Rajadhani AC, Lahari, Super Luxury, Deluxe.
Over 33,000 students appeared for Class 12 Public Examinations in Dindigul, Theni, and Virudhunagar districts.
