Release date of Shane Nigam’s 25th film announced
We had previously reported that Shane Nigam’s 25th film is written and directed by debutant Unni Sivalingam, and it also stars Preethi Asrani and Shanthnu Bhagyaraj in prominent roles. The makers have now announced the film’s release date.
Taking to social media, the makers confirmed that the untitled film’s shooting has been wrapped up and it will hit theatres on August 27.
Produced by Santosh T Kuruvilla and Binu Alexander George under the banner of STK Frames, the film — said to be a sports film centered on the sport of Kabbadi — is shot in Malayalam and Tamil. It’s reported that the actors underwent rigorous training in kabaddi under professional coaches, and the film also features several national and state-level Kabaddi players.
Shot in Malayalam and Tamil languages, with filming locations including Coimbatore, Palakkad and Pollachi, the film’s technical crew consists of cinematographer Alex J Pulickal and Bollywood editor Shivkumar V Panicker.
Meanwhile, Shane will be seen in Haal next. The romantic musical, helmed by debutant Veeraa and co-starring Sakshi Vaidya, is releasing on April 24. The actor also has Rosh Rasheed’s El Clasico and a film by Martin Joseph that’s presented by Jeethu Joseph I the making.
