Actor Allu Arjun visits injured child Sritej, at KIMS Hospital, who got injured in the stampede during Pushpa-2 premiere.
Actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad on Tuesday (January 7, 2025) morning to check on the condition of eight-year-old Sritej, who remains hospitalised following injuries sustained in the stampede during the premiere of Pushpa-2at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, 2024.
“Allu Arjun sought permission from the police to visit the boy. Once it was approved, he informed the hospital about his plans. Arrangements were made accordingly. The actor spent about 15 minutes at the hospital,” the hospital authorities said.
Sritej has been in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since the incident, with the last health bulletin issued by KIMS Hospital on December 30 providing an update on his condition. According to the bulletin, the child continues to need oxygen and minimal ventilator support due to respiratory complications. His condition required bronchoscopy and suctioning to address chest issues, and he remains on low-dose inotropic support for circulation. Doctors have adjusted his antibiotics based on the latest test results, and while he has not had a fever and is tolerating feeds through a nasogastric tube, his neurological status remains unchanged.
