IT Minister unveils Mee Ticket app ‘to make ticket booking a breeze’

Book tickets for temples, parks, boating destinations, zoos, museums, RTC buses, Metro services, and more with Mee Ticket app.
Waiting in queues to book tickets for travel in RTC buses or Metro rail, gaining entry to prominent temples or visiting parks and tourist destinations could soon be a thing of the past with the Mee Ticket app of Telangana government.
Users can book tickets for 15 temples, 129 parks, 54 boating destinations, zoos, museums, RTC bus and Metro services and various entertainment zones across Telangana. Bookings for community halls, gyms and sports complexes within the GHMC jurisdiction can also be made on the app, IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu office said on Thursday after he launched the app developed by the Telangana Department of Electronic Service Delivery (ESD).
Additionally, the app provides automated recommendations for nearby attractions based on the user’s chosen location, enhancing the overall user experience, the Minister’s office said in a release on the launch function in which Mee Seva Commissioner Ravi Kiran, Industries Department Commissioner G. Malsur, Zoo Parks Director Sunil and other senior officials concerned participated. The app simplifies the process by eliminating the need to wait in long queues, it said.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sridhar Babu said delivering effective governance to the people is the primary objective of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government. Making citizen services more accessible by leveraging technology forms a key strategy to achieve this objective. Experts were involved in the development of the app to ensure its effectiveness. The minister said the app integrates all types of ticket bookings into a single platform and is user-friendly. It enables payments through secure UPI options without levying additional charges. The app is designed to save time and effort, offering a convenient, single-window solution for multiple services.
