Dalit Sangharsh Samiti accuses BJP of targeting Minister Priyank Kharge in Bidar contractor's suicide, alleging political vendetta.
Accusing the BJP of indulging in cheap politics, members of Dalit Sangharsh Samiti (DSS) have said that BJP leaders are making continuous efforts to implicate Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge in the Bidar-based contractor Sachin Panchal’s suicide case which is nowhere related to the Minister.
Staging a rasta roko outside the Mini Vidhana Soudha here on Monday, samiti State convener D.G. Sagar and district samiti member Suresh Hadimani alleged that the BJP leaders are unable to digest the impressive political growth of Priyank Kharge and they have animosity towards the leader as he exposed corruption and a series of scams that took place during the BJP’s tenure in the State.
The agitators said that Priyank Kharge is always focused on welfare works and is committed to ensuring the overall development of the district.
