Vignan University students shine at South Zone youth festival

Students of Vignan University, Vadlamudi in Guntur district, showcased their talent at the 38th Association of Indian Universities (AIU) Inter-University South Zone Youth Festival held at SRM University, Chennai in Tamil Nadu, recently.
The four-day festival saw the Vignan students clinching 12 awards, according to Vice-Chancellor P. Nagabhushan.
At a felicitation ceremony held on Thursday at the Vignan University, Prof. Nagabhushan praised the students for their remarkable performances in events such as western instrumental solo, one-act play, collage competition, cultural rally, western vocal solo, elocution, skit, mime, folk orchestra, debate, cartooning, and rangoli.
The students’ performances in western instrumental solo, one-act play, collage competition, and cultural rally, earned them selection for the National Youth Festival.
The national-level competition will be held at Amity University in Noida from March 3 to 7, 2025.
The Vice-Chancellor, Vignan Chairman Lavu Rattaiah and Registrar P.M.V. Rao congratulated the students.
