
Akasa Air launches direct flights from Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi

Akasa Air will commence daily direct flights connecting Bengaluru with Abu Dhabi in UAE under codeshare with Etihad Airways from March 1.
The maiden flight from Kempegowda International Airport will depart at 1000 IST and arrive at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi at 1235 AST.
With this expansion, Akasa Air now operates 21 weekly flights connecting Abu Dhabi with three major Indian cities. This marks the airline’s first international route from Bengaluru.
“We are thrilled to launch this new international route operated with a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways, which strengthens our presence in UAE, one of the most crucial international aviation corridors. This partnership unlocks new travel possibilities for our customers, supporting tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two countries,” said Neelu Khatri, co-founder and SVP International, Akasa Air.
