
A batch of 980 students in Cuddalore college gets degrees

CK College of Engineering and Technology and CK College of Education celebrate graduation of 980 students with top honors.
A new batch of 980 students was presented degrees at the graduation ceremony held recently at the CK College of Engineering and Technology (CKCET) and CK College of Education (CKCOE).
A press note said the graduates included 10 university rank holders, with one securing the State rank.
During the graduation ceremony, degrees were conferred on 551 engineering graduates (535 BE and 16 ME graduates), 148 MBA graduates, and 299 B.Ed. graduates.
Addressing the candidates, chief guest K. Abdul Rahim, founder of Mount Road Bilal, said while the graduation ceremony was a testament to the dedication and hard work of each individual, it marked the beginning of a promising future, rather than the completion of an academic journey.
C.K. Ranganathan, Chairman & Managing Director, CavinKare Pvt. Ltd., said he was confident that the successful students would go on to make significant contributions to their respective fields.
Amudhavalli Ranganathan, Executive Director, CK Group of Educational Institutions and Director, New Initiatives & E-Commerce, CavinKare, said the graduates were stepping into the world with a strong academic foundation that would help them build successful careers. Apart from dignitaries from academia, principals, students and faculty members of the CK Group of Educational Institutions, and over 2,000 parents participated in the event.
