Junior golf, swimming camps at JWGC this summer

The Junior Golf camp aimed at providing young golfers with personalised coaching and opportunities to improve their skills will be divided into two batches.
The first, comprising children in the age group of 7 to 15 years, will start from April 3 and end on April 24. The 21-day-long camp will be held every day between 7 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. The second batch will start from April 28 and conclude on May 15. The 18-day-long camp will also be held every day from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m.
The summer swimming camp has also been divided into two batches. The first batch starts on April 3 and ends on April 24. The 21-day-long swimming camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. every day. The second batch starts from April 28 and concludes on May 15. During the 18-day-long camp, swimming classes will be held form 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. every day.
JWGC president Abraham Thomas, in a statement here, emphasised the importance of investing in the development of youth to ensure that the club’s legacy continued in the coming generations. “It is essential to nurture young talent early and ensure that the next generation of golfers and swimmers not only appreciate the sports, but also excel in them,” he said.
Joining him was Junior Golf Camp Committee chairman Narendra Babu, who said sports teach young participants the values of discipline, team work and perseverance.
