Will ensure holistic development of Kuppam, says Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The Chief Minister launches several developmental projects as part of ‘Swarna Kuppam’ vision, which, he says, are aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth, improving infrastructure, and creating job opportunities for the local community.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on January 7, 2025 (Tuesday) launched several developmental projects in his home constituency — Kuppam, as a part of the ‘Swarna Kuppam’ vision.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naidu reaffirmed his dedication to improving infrastructure, job opportunities, and agricultural sustainability in the constituency.
Mr. Naidu laid the foundation stone for a processing facility of the Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Private Limited at Thambi Ganipalli of Shantipuram mandal.
The ₹105.10-crore facility coming up in an extent of 41.22 acres is expected to create employment opportunities to 4,800 people, besides assisting more than 50,000 farmers by producing fruit pulp.
Jaya Tirtha Chari, Deputy Managing Director of the company, told the Chief Minister about the plant’s potential to improve the local agricultural economy.
Sreeja Dairy, with a base of one lakh women farmers, was allocated 40 acres of land for the construction of a milk powder manufacturing facility. The ₹233-crore project was expected to provide employment to 4,000 people. The APIIC facilitated land allocation, and the company representatives highlighted the project’s significance in empowering the women farmers.
The Chief Minister inaugurated a cattle feed manufacturing factory, which was set up to produce 200 tonnes of feed daily.
