Water level in Papanasam dam stands at 90.50 feet

Current water levels in Papanasam and Manimuthar dams with inflow and discharge rates provided.
Water level in Papanasam dam on Wednesday stood at 90.50 feet (maximum level 143 feet). The dam had an inflow of 912.25 cusecs and 50 cusecs of water was discharged. The level in Manimuthar dam stood at 88.40 feet (118 feet). The dam had an inflow of 487.10 cusecs and 100 cusecs of water was discharged.

After Chief Minister Siddaramaiah assured protesting members that he would call a meeting of legislators after the Budget session to look into their problems, the BJP and Janata Dal (S) withdrew their dharna in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday on the issue of releasing honorarium from the State exchequer for Congress workers involved in the implementation of the five guarantee schemes.
