In Tirunelveli, Papanasam dam's water level was 106.8 ft (max 143 ft) with inflow of 850.116 cusecs & discharge of 504.75 cusecs. Manimuthar dam's water level was 74.35 ft (max 118 ft) with inflow of 482 cusecs & discharge of 35 cusecs. Rainfall in last 24 hrs ending 6am Sun: Nalumooku 80mm, Oothu 78mm, Kakaachi 72mm, Manjolai 66mm & Papanasam 42mm.

Rainfall (in mm) during the last 24 hours ending 6 a.m. on Sunday was as follows: Nalumooku: 80, Oothu: 78, Kakaachi: 72, Manjolai: 66 and Papanasam recorded 42 mm rainfall, PWD officials said.
Capt.
