‘Thandel’ OTT release: Streaming date and platform of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s romantic drama out
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s romantic drama Thandel might have opened to mixed reviews but according to reports, the film has managed to emerge as a box-office success. Hot on its heels, there has been news on the film’s OTT release.
It’s now known that the film will stream on Netflix and the social media profile of the OTT giant recently confirmed that Thandel will stream on the platform from March 7. The tweet also stated that apart from the original Telugu version, the film’s Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam version will also be available to stream.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, and produced by Bunny Vas under the prestigious Geetha Arts banner, Thandel was presented by Allu Aravind.
With this film, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi reunited on screen after their blockbuster Love Story, directed by Sekhar Kammula. Thandel is said to have been inspired by real-life events that took place in the village of D Matchilesam in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh.
National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad is the film’s music director while Shamdat has handled the cinematography. National Award-winner Naveen Nooli is the editor. The art department is headed by Srinagendra Tangala.
