For the first time in India, no shop, no salesperson, no cashpoint..... just a tap on your phone screen, and take home all the honey that your heart desires! Tayima foods has taken the digital leap many miles ahead of its time!
Tayima foods recently announced the launch of its latest product I’M HONEY which is 100% raw and virgin honey sourced from the best beekeepers in Western Ghats. Thehoney has high medicinal value and comes in some of the most unique flavours. A lifestyle product, I’M HONEY, unlike your regular packaged honey, offers a new perspective to a common household sweet product like honey. The launch was in line with the digital India programme where the product was made available through no-contact retail kiosks and on Amazon.
For the very first time in India, a retail kiosk is installed with almost zero surveillance. “The idea of the kiosk is more than a selling point for us. It’s more about creating a free space for self-respect and accountability”, said Muhammed Jamsheer, co-founder of Tayima food products LLP.
Currently, the kiosks are set up in collaboration with Tentgram in their respective properties across India. However, the company hopes to expand and collaborate with more partners in the near future. The kiosk is unmanned and the product can be purchased by scanning the QR code and by making the payment.
“Having worked in Saudi Arabia for almost ten years, I witnessed how honey is a staple product in every Arab household. It’s not just a sweetener but also a wholesome product for a healthy lifestyle. With this initiative, l we hope to transform honey from a sweetener to a lifestyle product in India”, said Thahir Thaikandy, co-founder of Tayima food products LLP.
Features and benefits of I’M HONEY retail kiosks include:
The no-contact delivery lets you purchase the product without any hassle or long queues at the cash counter.
Installers are eligible for the profit shares of the products sold from their kiosk, which makes it an innovative project.
