Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to Government (Industries and Commerce and Information Technology (IT)), emphasised the synergy between education, industry and technological advancement. He was delivering a keynote address during the first founder’s day event organised at Sreenidhi University.
Pro-chancellor P. Narsimha Reddy, president Abhijit Rao and dean of school of engineering M. Karthikeyan were among those present. Their addresses underscored the importance of staying ahead in a rapidly evolving technological world by embracing innovation, adaptability and leadership.
Chancellor K.T. Mahhe unveiled a visionary roadmap for the university’s future, committing efforts towards cutting-edge education, research and global collaborations. During the event, academic excellence awards were presented to students.

Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Lokesh lays stone for Reliance Industries Limited’s CBG plant at Divakarapuram in Prakasam district. The 100-tonne capacity state-of-the-art plant spread over 475 acres is being established with an investment of ₹139 crore. RIL is investing a total of ₹65,000 crore to establish 500 CBG plants across the State, which are expected to generate employment opportunities to approximately 2.5 lakh people.
