Deputy CM Vikramarka provides job opportunities for displaced families, emphasizing Congress government's commitment to youth employment and development.
Deputy Chief Minister M. Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Friday handed over appointment letters as junior assistants, junior plant attendants, office subordinates and house keepers to 112 selected persons from among the displaced families of Veerlapalem village in Damaracherla mandal in Nalgonda district for the construction of 5x800 megawatt super-critical Yadadri Thermal Power Station (YTPS).
He also handed over appointment letters to the Divisional Accounts Officers in the Finance department through TGPSC. He said that after the formation of the Congress government, appointment letters were issued to 59,000 unemployed young men and women.
Mr. Vikramarka stated that the State government had also launched Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme recently to extend self employment schemes with an outlay of ₹9,000 crore to help unemployed youth who could not secure jobs.
Unlike the previous BRS government that would only make announcements and leave them, the Congress government had fixed a calendar for every process, from receiving applications to the selection of beneficiaries till the grounding of schemes.
He reminded that Chief Minster A. Revanth Reddy went to Davos and made MoUs with companies for investments worth ₹1.84 lakh crore. He cautioned the youth to be wary of some vested interests who were conspiring to stall the development and urged them to support development and employment generating activities.

Ruckus during Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Raptadu visit a pre-planned drama, says Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Anitha. Refuting YSRCP’s allegations of security lapses, she says there will be an inquiry into the entire episode. The Home Minister lashes out at the former Chief Minister for using derogatory language against the police personnel.
