Water levels in Papanasam and Manimuthar dams, along with rainfall data for various areas in Tamil Nadu.
Water level in Papanasam dam on Sunday stood at 92.10 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 528.66 cusecs and discharge of 50 cusecs. The level in Manimuthar dam stood at 86.34 feet (118 feet) with an inflow of 339.54 cusecs and discharge of 425 cusecs. Rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday was (in mm): Cheranmahadevi 32, Nanguneri 20, Palayamkottai 35, Tirunelveli 17.20, Papanasam 24, Manjolai 21, Kakkachi 25, Nalumukku 28 and Oothu 36.
