The water level in Manimuthar dam stood at 84.76 feet (the maximum level is 118 feet) with an inflow of 279 cusecs and nil discharge.. The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday was (in mm): Ambasamudram 13.40, Kannadian Anicut 6.80 and Moolakaraipatti recorded 8 mm rainfall.
