
Ten arrested for murdering e-cart company manager in Chikkaballapura

The deceased used to argue with his wife accusing each other of having an illicit affair, according to the police. The prime accused, Manoj, got to know about their arguments. He roped in Praveen, whose wife allegedly had an affair with the deceased.
Chikkaballapura Rural police arrested a gang of 10 persons who murdered their 28-year-old relative following a row over an alleged illicit relationship on February 2.
The deceased has been identified as Subhash, who worked as a manager with an e-cart company. He is married to the sister of the prime accused. The couple have a three-month-old baby.
The couple used to fight accusing each other of having an illicit affair, according to the police. The prime accused, Manoj, got to know about their arguments. He roped in Praveen, whose wife allegedly had an affair with the deceased.
On February 2, the duo, along with eight others, called Subhash for a talk. Following a heated argument, they attacked Subhash with lethal weapons, which led to his death, and dumped his body in a drain on Gauribidanur Road.
Fearing repercussions, a few of the accused, who witnessed the crime, surrendered before the police. The police found the body and arrested the rest of the accused. The police have recovered the weapons used by the accused,
