Kerala CM visits T. N. Minister’s residence in Madurai

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and CPI (M) leaders visit TN Minister PTR Palanivel Thiaga Rajan in Madurai.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, CPI (M) national leaders Prakash Karat, Brinda Karat and others visited Tamil Nadu IT and Digital Services Minister PTR Palanivel Thiaga Rajan’s residence in Madurai on Saturday.
Taking to X, Mr Thiaga Rajan said, “my mother (Rukmini Palanivel Rajan) and I were extremely happy to host the Kerala CM, accompanied by his family members, Finance Minister K. N. Balagopal, Tourism and Public Works Minister Mohammad Riyas and Brinda Karat at our home.”
The Communist leaders were in Madurai for their party’s conference, which concluded on Sunday.

When reporters brought to her notice the claim by villagers that the late maharaja of Mysore Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar had gifted the land to them, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar said she is not aware of the matter, but sought to assure people that no effort will be made to take back the land that had been gifted by the late maharaja.
