Kalaburagi branch of Jayadeva Hospital to be inaugurated by end of December

Dr Patil said that the inauguration date will be finalised after consulting with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and All India Congress Committee president and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge .
The 371-bed new building for the Kalaburagi branch of the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research (SJICSR) will be opened to the public by December-end, Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil, said on December 3.
He was addressing mediapersons after inspecting the installation of medical equipment and infrastructure facilities in the hospital building in Kalaburagi, along with Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB) Chairman Ajay Singh on December 3.

The advanced technology equipment installed at Jayadeva Hospital will create infrastructure in the Kalyana Karnataka region. The state-of-the-art medical equipment and the availability of quality healthcare service at affordable cost is expected to benefit the people of Kalyana Karnataka region.
Dr Ajay Singh said that the KKRDB has prepared a Detailed Project Report of ₹441 crore for upgrading hospitals in the Kalyana Karnataka region.
Dr Patil informed that the State Government has decided to establish a branch of Jayadeva in Hubballi.
