21-year-old Ajay missing after fire accident in boat on Hussain Sagar Lake; search operation underway, friends rescued, family files complaint.
A 21-year-old man, identified as Ajay, was reportedly missing following the fire accident in a boat and a jetty on the Hussain Sagar Lake on Sunday (January 26, 2025) night.
A search operation was launched by the police personnel after his family members lodged a missing person complaint on Monday (January 27, 2025) morning, an officer from the Lake police confirmed.
On Sunday night, a massive fire engulfed a boat and jetty during the ‘Bharatha Matha Maha Harathi’ event. While Ajay’s friends, who were with him at the time of the accident, were rescued safely, he could not be traced yet.
