
Four killed on the spot in road accident near Raichur’s Sindhanur

Tragic accident in Yadgir claims lives of four men, including students, as cruiser overturns near Sindhanur city.
As many as four men, including three students from Samskrita Pathashala of Mantralayam in Andhra Pradesh, were killed on the spot after the cruiser vehicle they were travelling in overturned near Sindhanur city in Raichur district late night on January 21, 2025.
The victims have been identified as Hayavadana (20), Sujayendra (22), Abhilash (20), and driver Shiva (25).
All were travelling from Mantralayam to Anegundi in Koppal district to participate in a religious programme.
The incident is said to have occurred when the driver tried to avoid some potholes. However, the real cause of the accident may be revealed after the completion of the investigation.
A case has been registered in the Sindhanur Traffic Police station.
