Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for 26 development works worth ₹3.21 crore at his native village of Naravaripalle in Chandragiri Constituency on Monday.

The Chief Minister, along with his family members, arrived in his native village to participate in the Sankranti festivities.
He distributed the benefits of various welfare programmes to the local people. He was accompanied by Tirupati Collector S. Venkateshwar.
Mr. Naidu gave away drip irrigation equipment to two farmers Balaram Naidu and Jyothi, under Andhra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project (APMIP). He asked the officials to provide the equipment to all the eligible beneficiaries under the APMIP project.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a 33KV semi-indoor power sub-station, to be set up at a cost of ₹4.27 crore.
A. Rangampet Zilla Parishad High School at Naravaripalle has been developed into a state-of-the-art exemplary school with the courtesy of Sri City at a cost of ₹1.10 crore. Mr. Naidu laid the foundation stone for the construction of dining hall, AI robotic lab, computer lab, IFP panels, kitchen shed and sports equipment infrastructure.
In the presence of the Chief Minister, the Department of Women and Child Welfare and Care and Grow, a voluntary organisation, exchanged MoUs for the implementation of a capacity-building programme pilot project in eight Anganwadi centres under Naravaripalle panchayat.

“Earth Day celebrations have already started in Bengaluru, with campaigns at various colleges such as St. Josephs, and Christ University where life-size elephants made from the invasive species, Lantana Camera, have been travelling to spread the message of conservation and coexistence, along with expert talks from WWF India and Ravi Chellam of Metastring Foundation,” said the release.
