Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin inaugurates CM's Mini Stadium in Chennai with ₹3 crore amenities for sports personnel.
Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Tuesday inaugurated a Chief Minister’s Mini Stadium located near Quaid-e-Millath Government College for Women in Chennai. The Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department has constructed the CM’s Mini Stadium at a total cost of ₹3 crore providing various amenities for sports personnel. Chennai Central MP Dayanidhi Maran, elected representatives and senior officials were also present on the occasion.

A total of 3,464 pilgrims had registered to participate in the annual festival being held at the famous St. Antony’s Church in Katchatheevu, said organisers here on Tuesday. The church was established by the fishermen of India and Sri Lanka way back in 1913 St. Antony was worshipped as a protector of the fishermen and the fishermen offer prayers at the church as a mark of thanksgiving to the God for proving them good produce.
