The two-day The Hindu - Living Spaces - 2025, a property exhibition featuring over 200-plus prestigious projects, apart from stalls from financial institutions, furniture and interiors sectors, began at Palace Grounds on Saturday. Around a thousand prospective buyers visited the exhibition on day one.
The expo emphasised a rising interest in sustainable living, smart homes, and affordable property investments. Several developers showcased eco-friendly projects, while technology-driven solutions, including AI-based security systems and energy-efficient designs, attracted interest.
Numerous developers are presenting special deals and low-interest home loan options throughout the event.
N. Jayaram, commissioner, Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), who inaugurated the exhibition, said that the exhibition was a good platform to cut out middlemen who plague the real estate sector. “I hope exhibitions like these will aid the planned development of the city,” he said.
Kavita S.M., commissioner, Karnataka Housing Board (KHB), thanked The Hindu for organising the property exhibition and appealed to customers to buy KHB properties as well.
The BDA and the KHB are among the gold sponsors for the event and properties developed by both agencies are also open for investment at the exhibition.
Many visitors praised the extensive array of properties on display. Mala, a potential buyer, remarked, “This expo is an excellent chance to discover various projects all in one place. I’ve identified some thrilling investment options that fit my budget.”
