Telangana government’s Department of Employment & Training (DET) in collaboration with the Centre for Good Governance (CGG) has kicked off an industrial roundtable conference series focused on skill training across sectors.
The first in the series on Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) with ‘Skilling Telangana for Brighter Future’ as its theme was conducted here, the organisers said in a release on Friday. In all six industrial roundtables are to be held from March 7 to 21. Besides BFSI, the conference will be focused on Construction, Life Sciences, Retail, Manufacturing and IT & ITES sectors.
At the roundtable on BFSI, Special Chief Secretary to the DET Sanjay Kumar delivered the keynote address, while the inaugural address was delivered by Chief Operating Officer of BFSI Sector Skill Council Soumya Ranjan. CGG director general Rajendra Nimje and director Devi Prasad Juvvadi spoke.
