An officer with the Telangana Registration department, Dasari Venkata Ramana, has produced a thought-provoking 15-minute short film titled ‘Jagratha’ to raise awareness about the property purchase and registration process. The film offers valuable suggestions and cautionary advice to those buying real estate.
Dr. Ramana, a renowned author, has received the prestigious Central Sahitya Akademi Award in 2014 for his book ‘Anandam’. His work has been recognised nationally, with the Central Sahitya Akademi deciding to translate ‘Anandam’ into 24 Indian languages.
Available on the Telangana Registration department’s official website, the Jagratha Short film, and YouTube, ‘Jagratha’ has garnered over 17 million views on YouTube alone. Viewers can also access the film through the T.registration mobile app by visiting the Department Information Wing.
