NWKRTC warns employees against sharing defamatory videos

The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has warned all its employees that sharing defamatory videos about other employees, officials or any other important people associated with the corporation on social media, or any other public forum, will lead to disciplinary action.
A circular issued on March 13 warned that employees recording such defamatory messages and sharing them in public has become a cause for worry in recent times. It further stated that if the employees face any problems, they can discuss them with their supervisors or employee welfare officers, and solve it in a systematic manner.
“These rules come into effect immediately and everyone should act accordingly. If these rules are not followed, then it will be taken seriously and disciplinary action will be taken,” the circular stated.
