In a post on X, he highlighted aspects like the increase in assistance to agriculture workers, announcement of 1,000 Chief Minister’s Farmers Service Centres, new technologies, welfare measures for small farmers, Hill Farmers Development Scheme, and a special package for farmers in non-delta districts, among others.
In a separate post on X, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said the Budget announcements would bring cheer to farmers, and highlighted measures like the Dr. M.S. Swaminathan Research Grant for new findings in agriculture.
