Chennai Water Board open house meetings for consumer grievances on February 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board will hold open house meetings in all 15 of its area offices across the city between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday (February 8, 2025). A press release said such meetings were held on the second Saturday of every month to redress consumer grievances. Residents can represent complaints related to drinking water supply and sewage disposal at these meetings, which will be chaired by the board’s superintending engineers. Consumers may also seek clarifications regarding water and sewer taxes and charges and the status of new connections. Officials will also offer advice on and tips to maintain rainwater harvesting infrastructure.
