High Court Judge inaugurates new Udupi Bar Association premises, emphasizes continuous learning for judicial officers and advocates.
New premises of Udupi Bar Association was inaugurated by High Court Judge E.S. Indiresh in Udupi on Friday. The new premises has come up on the fourth floor of the Udupi District Court complex.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Idiresh called upon judicial officers and advocates to be students every day. Though judicial officers may be rank holders in the law course, they might not have read all the laws. If advocates present cases in a better way there is good chance of getting good judgements.
Mr. Indiresh, who is also Administrative Judge for Udupi District, said new mediators will be shortly appointed to mediation centres in taluk courts. These mediators will receive 40-hour long training, he said.
Udupi Principal District and Sessions Judge Kiran S. Gangannavar and office bearers of Udupi Bar Association were present.
