Lay road
The road from TVS Nagar to the railway overbridge near Jayavilas junction via Jaihindpuram is very bad. The gravel has come out of the soil and it is very difficult for people to ride vehicles on this road. As a consequence of this, many accidents occur. Senior citizens struggle to walk on this uneven road. For the past many years the road has not been laid properly. I request the corporation officials to lay the road soon.

No safe passage for vehicles
Most of the roads in Madurai do not have pavements. The existing pavements are largely occupied by commercial establishments, thus disrupting public mobility. Similarly, vegetable and fruit vendors and mobile food outlets spread their ware on the road and obstruct free movement of vehicles and cause traffic snarls. Sugarcane crushers have permanently blocked many pavements. Due to encroachments, the width of the roads has shrunk to a great extent. Two wheelers coming to shops are parked in a haphazard manner on the pavement itself. I request the authorities concerned to remove the encroachments and provide a safe and smooth passage for pedestrians and vehicles.
