Infosys to expand campus in Pocharam, Hyderabad, adding 17,000 jobs
Software giant Infosys announced plans to expand its campus in Pocharam, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Plans were prepared to add 17,000 jobs at the campus. An agreement in this direction was made with the Telangana government to expand the facilities there.
The announcement was made after Jayesh Sanghrajka, Group CFO of Infosys Limited met with Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference 2025 in Davos, Switzerland.
As part of the agreement, new IT towers would be constructed with Rs. 750 crores under the first phase. The construction would be completed in the coming two to three years. Currently, 35,000 people are employed with Infosys in Hyderabad.
Leading corporations and industries in all sectors would be provided with adequate support, with an aim to better the State’s economy, said Mr. Sridhar Babu
