HYDRAA removes compound walls in Badangpet Municipality, cleared an encroachment
The Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has got the compound walls removed from a colony in Badangpet Municipality on Thursday (March 27, 2025).
The compound wall was built by the layout developers enclosing half of the plots in Boyapally, in Almasguda village, which blocked the way for other plot owners, a statement from HYDRAA informed.
The layout was approved by village panchayat back in 1982, on which blockades were created on three roads. Apart from felling the compound wall, the HYDRAA forces also cleared encroachments on the 240 square yard open space in the colony, as per the statement.
HYDRAA chief A. V. Ranganath undertook a field-level inspection of various areas after receiving complaints about encroachment of the government lands. He toured Guttala Begumpet in Madhapur, the lake near Whisper Valley, and Thondapalli village of Shamshabad mandal, the statement said.
