Final electoral rolls for Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, and Villupuram districts released with voter statistics and National Voters' Day information.
The final electoral roll for all the nine Assembly constituencies in Cuddalore district, with January 1, 2025 as the qualifying date, were released on Monday. The district has 21,80,004 voters — 10,69,935 men, 11,09,744 women and 325 others.
Releasing the rolls at the Collectorate, District Election Officer and Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar said that 80,205 forms were received and 78,417 were accepted. A total of 44,926 voters were included and the names of 14,108 voters were deleted — 3,469 voters on account of death, 376 for double entry and 10,263 for migration.
The final electoral rolls would be displayed at all polling stations. First-time voters in the age group of 18 to 19 (who are yet to receive their Election Photo Identity Cards (EPIC)) would be issued EPIC at the respective polling booths on January 25. January 25 is known as the National Voters’ Day.
The final roll included 2,22,386 voters in Thittakudi (reserved); 2,59,236 in Vridhachalam; 2,04,115 in Neyveli; 2,53,855 in Panruti; 2,46,004 in Cuddalore; 2,52,161 in Kurunjipadi; 2,56,701 in Bhuvanagiri; 2,50,032 in Chidambaram; and 2,35,514 in Kattumannarkovil (reserved).

In Kallakurichi district, women have outnumber men.
Of the 11,46,850 voters, 5,74,730 are women, 5,71,875 are men and 245 others. Releasing the roll for four constituencies, Collector M.S. Prasanth said 28,150 voters were included and the names of 6,338 voters were deleted — 1,761 voters on account of death, 531 for double entry and 4,046 for migration.
