
BRS leader Praveen Kumar lodges a complaint against CM or cancellation of Formula-E race

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and former IPS officer R.S. Praveen Kumar on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the Narsingi police against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy citing criminal breach of trust and causing substantial loss to the public exchequer through his hasty action in cancellation of Formula-E race and requested a case be registered under relevant provisions of Bharatiya Nayaya Sanhita (BNS).
Accompanied by MLA Mutha Gopal, MLC Naveen Kumar Reddy and party leaders Ch. Rakesh Kumar, Vasudeva Reddy and others, Mr. Praveen Kumar handed over the complaint to the police officer present in the police station. Later, speaking at the party office he stated that the hasty action by the Chief Minister on the Formula-E race issue had caused huge financial and reputation loss.
The previous government had planned to establish a mobility valley in the City as part of creating employment potential and the Formula-E race was conducted as part of it. One race was conducted and four more were to be held in the coming years. The hasty decision of the government has therefore lead to loss of investments, revenue to the government and employment opportunities to the youth, he added.
As a taxpayer the was caused to him too, Mr. Praveen Kumar said and requested the police to registered a case against the Chief Minister and investigate the matter.
