Auroville's special session explores sacred feminine-masculine leadership with spiritualist Allison Conte and leadership expert Nilima Bhat.
Auroville hosted a special session, “When Sophia meets Shakti”, featuring a spiritual counsellor and a corporate leadership coach as part of International Women’s Day celebrations.
The event, organised under the auspices of the Auroville Foundation at the Unity Pavilion, brought together spiritualist Allison Conte and leadership expert Nilima Bhat to expatiate on the integration of the sacred feminine-masculine dimension, and combining ancient wisdom and modern insight.
During the course of the conversation around the leadership of the sacred feminine, Ms. Conte elaborated on the “Sophia archetype”, a central figure in the gnostic movement of ancient times, and the integration of spirituality and leadership.
Ms. Bhat expanded on the idea of “Shakti leadership”, which essentially is an embracing of the feminine and the masculine power in successful corporate leadership, and emphasised the importance of gender equality.
Jayanti S. Ravi, Auroville Foundation Secretary and Gujarat Additional Chief Secretary, joined the event in virtual mode, a press note from Auroville said.
