Minister Ramprasad Reddy reaffirms government's commitment to BC welfare and empowerment, highlighting their crucial role in governance.
Minister for Transport, Youth and Sports Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy has reiterated the government’s commitment to the welfare and development of Backward Classes (BCs), highlighting their crucial role in the success of the coalition government.
Speaking at the National BC Welfare Association Convention held at Ajay Convention Hall here on Sunday, Mr. Ramprasad Reddy said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu cherished a longstanding dedication to empowering BC communities. He said that under the Chief Minister’s leadership, BC welfare remains a top priority, ensuring significant representation and opportunities in governance and development programmes.
“The coalition government has been a resounding success, largely due to the support of the BC communities. Moving forward, we are committed to prioritising BCs in the upcoming MPTC, ZPTC and municipal elections to further strengthen their role in governance,” Mr. Ramprasad Reddy said.
The Minister also criticised the previous YSR Congress Party government, stating that it failed to adequately recognise and support BCs. He urged the community to continue backing the present government to ensure long-term development and inclusive growth.
The event witnessed the participation of prominent BC leaders, community representatives and cadres of the coalition parties from all over Rayalaseema districts.
